i'm back! again.

Hello people :)

It's been a long time since i last updated my blog, my DA account, sketches on my facebook and everything...

I got caught up in dentistry thingies during and after the exams... I'm still struggling to keep up and remember what I have to do for each lab. But hey, I pull it through!

Now, here's a little something i did last night, playing with copics, coloured pencils and photoshop. I like how it turned out and yes, I feel proud of it. :)

Projectwise, I'm still working on a big one-shot comic with a friend (thank you George..!!!!) but nothing more will be revealed, as it is still in development, and in really early stages.

All i have to say is I AM COUNTING DAYS TILL COMICDOM CON!

It will be aaawesoooome and fuuuun and there will be cooomic people all around that i haven't seen in mooonths, and comics, and panels, and comics and stuff!

Ah, comicdom. :)

Hello people!

It's been a long time since i last updated. Sorry!!!

I'm attending two univeristies, which means double exams, so, please regard me kindly, because i'm feeling like THAT:

To keep things sweet, here are a sushi (what? oops, ok, that's not sweet), a cookie and a cupcake :3

Also, to my AKTO friends, we will make some of these... Next gathering will be for cupcakes!

Last time was this awesome (and delicious) choco-bisquit house.

Otherwise, all is going well. :) Just wish me luck for my exams....

Oh, and wish me courage. next semester, i'll be going to comic college three days a week and doing about 4 hours labs, per day.

But it's worth it.

Here goooooooes... WORLD OF EXAMCRAFT!!!!! (i love this comic)

Now, how about some subtitles...

• pg1:
• Listen, friend, to my story./what story is it?/a story of war.
• I was slaughtering teachers and proffessors when it happened./what happened?/at the beginning....the sky went dark.
• It was angry. It was huge.
• It was an exams corrector! (*) /OMG/AND a mathematician!/shit!

*in greek national exams, all papers are sent to be corrected by professors in a different location. preparation schools are focusing on the students writing in clear letters and, particularly in math, explaining every single process they follow, in order to get the highest mark possible. Thus, all exam correctors are feared of.

• pg2:
• The battle was epic./I used the sword of functions!
• AAAA!
• Didn't work, huh?/ Not really.
• The battle was short. But i'd have lost, if it hadn't been for....

• pg3:
• the absence-keeper and her cheat sheets! /nice.
• but it was not long before... the sky went dark again.
• This time it was a Chemistry corrector! with no more cheat sheets..../without any power left...
• i was done for!

*I don't know how it is in other countries (sorry) but in Greece, the student with the highest marks is responsible for recording students' absences.

• pg4:
• I got ''0'', got into fish breeding in Arkansas, and i'm trying again in two semesters' time.
• uh-huuuh.... and how's the game called?
• World of examcraft. it's cool./ And what about the real exams?
• WHAT REAL EXAMS?

*fish breeding university is almost like a country-wide inside joke regarding the univeristies we'd apply for. retrying the exams is not uncommon, as most students aim for medicine, law and mechanics.

• fun facts:
• In chemistry, i scored 19,5 because i misspelled a unit. otherwise, perfect.
• In maths, i scored a straight 20 when whole Greece was crying over it.
• In biology (2 of them) i scored 19,7 and 17,8 if i remember correctly. the system almost REQUIRES that we know all pages by heart for the exams. more than 100 pages by heart, damn right.
• In physics: straight 20.
• In essay, it was 14/20 from one examiner and 18/20 from the other. my proposals were too innovative for some. their bad! (should've drawn something below the essay now that i'm thinking about it.)

Oh, and here's a fish. :) i liked the colours so much, i thought i'd share. next time, i'll try to have it in gif animation.

i'm back!

Hallo people :D

I'm back! Back from what? Back from time out. In the meantime i've been quite creative. see? :D

This comic below was unearthed during a digital excavation in my old and rusty pc folders. I like this comic, despite the imbalance of frames and blah blah blah. :) little red riding hood got to be a uni student. :') there's more to that story, but it's not for now.

I am very fond of my old comics. Next update will be panellineage. The english title would be something like 'world of examcraft' or 'world of s.a.t.scraft' or whatever the final exams are called.

Oh, and let's not forget! People in Athens, little koumaki's going to be in πictures exhibition in February! I'll keep reminding you. :)

Google sKetchup

Hello people.

This week I was working on google sketchup. Ah, I love it!!! I am working on a 3-D model of a coffee house that I will use in my next project. The possibilities are endless....

Otherwise, I've been running these past few days, trying to get my 6-pages zombie comic done, studying, doing my art college exercises...

Oh, and I will take part in an exhibition scheduled for February 2011, at π bar in Gazi, Athens. :D

It will be AWESOME.

Also, I might be in for illustrating a dental laboratory handbook and a dentist's website. If everything goes well, it will be quite the opportunity to get in this field. I've heard scientific books illustration is worth it.

So, people (in Athens) keep an eye out for the:

PS: today, at the planetarium, i felt the urge to pick up a 'something mister science' box.

When i looked at it, it was a model of teeth and gums.

i bought it.

To put it in my office.

Years from now.

Zombies!

Hello people :)

It's been some time. My modem crashed and i had to do without the internetz for some days now.

Anyway, now it's back and working, sooo i have a little something, as always!

This is a comic panel from a project i've been invited to participate.. The main idea is that there are about 5 stories per volume, and each story features each creator's characters, fighting against a threat common for all the stories in the volume.

Well, here is just a sneak peek, not really much.

Mine will be featuring Artemis, Danny and Luke (well, mainly Artemis, and nearly not Danny and Luke at all) fighting some zombies created by magic.

The the other creators featured in the volume, are Sam Johnson, Mike Gagnon, Spyros Evangelos Armenis and George Kambadais.

Not-comic-wise, life's been treating me good these days.

Except for the tonsilitis I got from exhausting myself beyond my limits. -_-

Luckily, it was while dentistry was closed, so i did not get any absences in labs.

Unluckily, art college was open and I lost two days of useful lessons...

Can't complain, I had it coming.

Off to keep working now.
