Comicdom Con 2012, a delayed aftermath.

From what the number say, there were over 9000 people at Comicdom, these three days! Hoorah to the organisers!

As for us, we were selling a fanzine and a Con exclusive issue, we met with awesome artists and we attended awesome panels and workshops!
The pace was exhausting, but oh well, I'd do it again over and over.

WOMANTHOLOGY HEROIC: GREEK DIVISION Exclusive Comic!

Για πρώτη φορά, το Comicdom Con Athens φέτος παρουσιάζει, μία αποκλειστική, περιορισμένων αντιτύπως έκδοση, το WOMANTHOLOGY HEROIC: GREEK DIVISION, ως μέρς του γενικότερου WOMANTHOLOGY project της IDW Publishing.

Όπως κάθε χρονιά, έτσι και φέτος θα πραγματοποιηθεί στην Ελληνοαμερικάνικη Ένωση (Μασσαλίας 22, Αθήνα) το ερχόμενο τριήμερο Παρασκευή 30 Μαρτίου έως και Κυριακή 1η Απριλίου, το ετήσιο φεστιβάλ comics, Comicdom Con Athens 2012 http://www.comicdom-con.gr/.

Το WOMANTHILOGY HEROIC αποτελεί παραγωγική έμπνευση της δημιουργού comic Renae De Liz, μία Graphic Novel ανθολογία που δημιουργήθηκε ολοκληρωτικα από γυναίκες δημιουργούς. Σκοπός αυτού του βιβλίου είναι να παρουσιάσει τη δουλειά γυναικών comic creators κάθε ηλικίας, εθνικότητας και πείρας.

Σε αυτό το αποκλειστικό “Greek Division” 24-σέλιδο comic προχωρούμε ένα βήμα παραπέρα, παρουσιάζοντας ακόμη περισσότερες δημιουργούς, με μία μοναδική “Heroic” αισθητική και οπτική, που αποτελούν την επόμενη γενιά ελλήνων δημιουργών, inkers, pencilers, inkers, colourists και comic letterers.

Το WOMANTHOLOGY HEROIC: GREEK DIVISION αποτελεί επίσης το πρώτο Greek Convention Exclusive Comic, και θα διατίθεται κατά τη διάρκεια του φεστιβάλ Comicdom Con Athens 2012 από τις 30 Μαρτίου ως την 1 Απριλίου, υπογεγραμμένο και αριθμημένο σε 50 μόλις αντίτυπα.

Hello people!

Well, it's been a long time since I last updated my blog, due to Christmas, being sick and other stuff.

BUT!
Good thing is that, during that absence, I got to draw a little bit, so here you go:





Yeah, I've been drawing sea stuff again. Plus, I'm trying to pick up some Adam Hughes tricks.
This guy is AWESOME.

As usual, I am also keeping an eye on Barbara Canepa and her art. She is currently working on Sky Doll vol 4, and judging by the previews, it's gonna be AWESOME.

Also, starting this year, I'll be going to the gym. Not because I want to, but because I start having back pains.
It's usual for dentists, and comic designers/painters/internet people.

And it's even more usual for dentists who draw and spend a lot of time on the internet/photoshop/minesweeper.

Bottom line is, you should feel more sympathetic for your dentists.
Just saying.
